We have made and tested a Kurrent kayak with our standard weight Skin fabric and Frame thickness. The boat performed so well that we are considering replacing the K-light with the Kurrent 2.0 (29 lbs)

Will the new skin be compatible with an existing Kurrent frame?
no we actually make it with our regular weight frame material. The force required to stretch the heavier skin would fold the thin aluminum.
