Just having made camp and begun to explore when a great guy by the name of bob pulls into our small bay. He has a huge powerboat with 8 people on board, a buch of fresh conch and cold beer! He immediately gusses that we are canadian, and provides me with a few cold beer and fresh conch salad….. refusing all in return,
He also provides us with the information that a front is moving in and the winds will blow 35-45 knots for a few days starting within a few hours. Priceless meeting.
Kat and I break camp and ship out within 30 mins; a well oiled machine we are.
Oh well. One less day camping. One more day schmoozing with yachties. To rollieville in a hell of a headwind, gusting to 20-25 knots.
